Celebrating Nepalese Art and Craftsmanship

Vijaya Handicraft connects you with authentic Nepalese artisans, showcasing their unique stories and handcrafted products that embody the rich cultural heritage of Nepal.

At the heart of our work is Roshan Sapkota — a warm, curious soul with an open heart and a gift for connecting with people from all walks of life. As the founder and owner of the company, Roshan is deeply rooted in his Nepalese heritage and driven by a passion for preserving the country’s rich artistic and cultural traditions. When he's not working closely with local artisans or sourcing rare crafts, he dedicates his time to supporting his family and working as a children's counselor. His empathy, dedication, and natural ability to build lasting friendships are the foundation of everything we do.

Partnering with Roshan is Victor Skou Rolighed, a Danish traveler and guide who has spent many years living in Nepal. With a strong background in tourism, Victor leads journeys through the country’s mountains, temples, and villages, and has developed a deep respect for Eastern philosophy and the spiritual symbolism woven into Nepalese handicraft — particularly that of the Newar culture.

Together, we’ve built strong relationships with families and craftsmen across Nepal. From studying ancient architecture and symbols to reviving forgotten techniques, we work side-by-side with local communities to celebrate and share the incredible legacy of Nepalese art with the world.
